If you were at Blow Up last Saturday then you know like I do that it was definitely a night to remember!!!! Not only did Ava berlin and Jeffrey Paradise bring you Blow Up, which is a night of pure exhilaration in its self!!!! They also brought to the stage the Great Steve Aoki!! Like regular Blow up fashion they took Fame, Glamour, and passion!! And made it personal, I’ve never felt as close to a night club as I do with Blow up!! Be it a hipster, raver, hippy, or Punk. When you’re here your at home!!
The night started with Ari and me throwing together Head pieces, gluing eye lashes, shoving on shoes and racing to our car! We drove up by Kelly’s to see nothing but beautiful people waiting in lines!! Hundreds of them, all excited to see what Blow Up had underneath there sleeves! And let me tell you no one was the least bit disappointed!! When I finally got in I felt the familiar feel of Kelly’s Mission rock; Blow Up’s summer home. Tons of merch tables, photographers, videographers, amazing Dj’s up and down stairs! I felt like I was in a Wonderland of electro and Love.
One moment of the night that really stood out for me was meeting Aoki and hanging out with my Blow Up family in the V.I.P room. The love in that room was indescribable. Not only did I meet this great DJ and all around amazing person, I also got to be apart of the Blow Up movement. Working the Lines and Merch Table, and seeing everyone’s beauty unfold on to the dance floor! I haven’t danced and yelled that much in a long time, but hey leave it to Blow up to bring you out of your shell! August 14, 2010 was defiantly a night that my feet and I will never forget.
